Home to classic toddler TV favourites like Blippli, Cocomelon and Little Baby Bum, Moonbug is a global entertainment company that produces and publishes thousands of minutes of video and audio content every month with the goal of teaching compassion, empathy and resilience to kids around the world.
Founded in 2018, with offices in London and Los Angeles, the brand creates, produces and publishes thousands of minutes of video and audio content every month.
They approached Make to support their internal marketing team in launching several show specific websites to a tight deadline.
With each show acting as a brand in its own right, Moonbug wanted a separate destination for each programme under their umbrella. The aim was for parents to have a place to learn more about the shows and their cast, as well as driving them to purchase merchandise and tickets to events.
To align the launch of the platforms with Moonbug's internal strategy, time was of the essence. Make were tasked with just four weeks per brand.
Make set out to create a series of website designs which would reflect the unique personality of each individual show, whilst also staying true to the overall brand look and feel. We created a series of fun, colourful and easy to navigate destinations which parents could explore with their child.
Aware of the tight timeframe in which the microsites were needed, the team developed a clear roadmap of deliverables and focused on several four-week-sprints throughout the project. This allowed enough time to ensure all stakeholders remained engaged and meant more collaboration between teams was possible.
The Moonbug team were thrilled with the outcome. All microsites went live on time as planned, hitting their internal objectives and giving the parents of the viewers an important resource.
Since then, Make has continued to partner with Moonbug as their outsourced technical department, looking after the hosting, maintenance and on-going evolutions of all of the microsites.
